So I’m in the North East U.S., right in the path of the coming storm. My town is also particularly awful about power outages. Last year we had no power for a week after the October ice storm. With the storm coming in a few days, I expect to lose power and there’s pretty much nothing I can do about it.

StoryMaster runs in two parts. The first is the online part where you submit your requests. I expect that to stay up with no problems. The second part is the part I run from my laptop that actually processes your request. That part will not work if I have no power or internet ( obviously! ). So if you see the number of requests in the request queue climbing and not going down in the next week, you’ll know it’s because I’m probably sitting in the dark. The request processing will resume as soon as I have power and internet again, you’ll just have to be patient.
