You shouldn’t have your requests sent to “…@free.kindle.com”.  When you send it to that email address, Amazon tries to convert whatever the attachment is to a format your Kindle will recognize.  Amazon does not recognize ZIP files, which is how all attachments are sent from StoryMaster.

When you make requests and you need a Kindle format, request a “mobi” file.  Those are native to the Kindle and do not need to be converted.

Use a regular email address and after you receive your request, unzip it to somewhere on your hard drive, you should get a “.mobi” file.  That file can be copied directly into the documents directory on your Kindle.  The “mobi” file does not need to be converted or modified in any other way.
